NICK SWEET

    Nick joined Barton Willmore in 2005 following 25 years of experience in national and international Masterplanning work, primarily as Director of the Urban Design Group at Aukett Fitzroy Robinson. Nick has attracted a considerable reputation in the specialist field of large scale, complex urban regeneration, having led the multi-disciplinary teams providing Master Plans for projects such as Ravenscraig; The European Parliament Quarter, Brussels; Newcastle Great Park; Millbay, Plymouth; The Royals Business Quarter, London; Potsdam, Berlin; Northfleet, Eastern Quarry; Central Park, Manchester and many others. His specialism extends to large-scale residential or mixed-use schemes, employment facilities and a particular focus on the public realm. He has been appointed at Partner level in Barton Willmore and has assumed responsibility for the 20 strong London based Urban Design Team.

KEITH SHEARER

    Throughout his career Keith has practised in the UK, various European countries, the Middle East and Japan, on projects ranging from single architectural projects, to large residential-led mixed use developments and city-wide strategic regeneration and urban extension studies. He has worked in both the public and private sectors and has been responsible for large-scale regeneration projects involving new build, refurbishment and remodelling of the Public Realm.

KATHRYN ANDERSON

    Kathryn joined the practice as an Associate Urban Designer in 2002 with a background in regeneration and sustainable development. Initially concentrating on mixed use, high density masterplans and major urban regeneration projects, her main focus was Kent Thameside, where she was involved in masterplanning elements of the Ebbsfleet Valley development including Eastern Quarry, Ebbsfeet and Springhead, to deliver the bulk of the Government’s housing targets in the Thames Gateway. She has since widened her knowledge of sustainable community development, both in the UK and abroad, and now directs UK and European projects where sustainable living and responsible resource management are the core design objective.

MELVIN LIM

    Melvin is currently based in Kuala Lumpur and leads our involvement on development projects there and throughout the region. He has had a wide ranging involvement in a mixture of projects covering residential, mixed use and commercial projects on behalf of house builders, landowners, developers and public companies. Melvin and his team undertake all aspects of a project from initial feasibility and the design through to completion but his focus however is getting the project started and ensuring that value is being created.

EMILIE PIGNON

    Emilie is a Senior Master Planner with more than 8 years of experience in the UK and France.
