Barton Willmore prepared a Master Plan for 7250 houses at Eastern Quarry between Bluewater Regional Shopping Centre and Ebbsfleet International Station in Kent.

The former quarry is characterised by dramatic land form and cliffs created from the quarrying.

The Master Planning and Planning teams are working to create a new settlement that moves away from the Poundbury residential model to a development based on densities of between 60 to 90dph.

The residential development will be structured into five villages connected by a high quality public transport scheme.
