Changes to the planning system demand new skills and new uses for those well established skills. At Barton Willmore we have experience of all aspects of the planning system and a well established track record in urban design, master planning and architecture.

Regional planning demands a particular set of skills which we have developed following the UK Planning System over the past 70 years. Barton Willmore has represented clients at most of the examinations in public for Regional Planning Guidance documents, across the country. Barton Willmore also has an established track record in appearing at local plan inquiries.

Barton Willmore town planners carry out site appraisals, advise on strategies for promoting development schemes,


 

prepare and submit planning applications, produce development briefs and environmental statements, assist with negotiations and are experienced in co-ordinating the work of multi-disciplinary teams. We also take part in public consultation exercises and have the skills to produce high quality exhibition material.
